Kaiyodo is a Japanese company of models and miniatures, famous among geeks and otakus. Kaiyodo's managing director S.Miyawaki is a big LOTR fan.
In his colmn "Strangelove of managing director" in a magazine "TV-BROS", he reports the Tokyo Premiere of ROTK held last month. Last year he had talked with Richard Taylor of WETA and been told that PJ likes tanks. So he brought miniature tanks to the Premiere and handed them to PJ. PJ knew Kaiyodo well and told Miyawaki that he owned every kind of miniature dinosaur Kaiyodo produced long ago.
