Subject: Snicker-snacking
Recently I've finished reading Amber book 7 and just started 8.
I've found some descriptions of ZAngband monsters. I'd like
to have them being incorpolated into r_info.txt.
Here they follows:

BTW, Merlin snicker-snacks his Vorpal Blade and cut
Fire Angel's limbs off. It would be interesting if this kind of
things is implemented into ZAngband.
Here is my idea (or fancy):
Monster HP's are assigned to each body part (if any. Cthulhu's don't count.)
and attacking monster reduces HP of randomly choosen part.
When HP of some part goes to zero, monster's attack associated to
that part is disabled. But this will change the game too easy, so
disabled part may regenerate soon. Disabling legs may slow down monsters,
although disabling Shelob's leg 3 out of 8 may not slow down her.
Disabling one of Kavlax's heads may prevent him breathing certain
type of breath.
It is unlikely that one disables certain body part of monsters with high HP
at early attacking stage, because body part is randomly choosen.
However, there may be "aimed attack", which specify the body part to attack,
with some penalties such as low to-hit or "deadliness" or # of attacks.
Head of giant creature may have low to-hit penalties for that,
because one can hardly reach. But polearms may not.
And VORPAL weapons may cut body part off with certain probability,
and the part cannot be regenerated. However, powerful, magical
creature may regenerate lost parts (or increase # of limbs, heads,
etc. randomly).
